Clown's Guide to Pandæmonium 6 Savage - Hegemone
This is a preliminary guide because I couldn't find any other good text guides.
Mechanics in order
- Hemitheos's Dark IV - Heavy Raidwide. Shield appropriately
- Chelic Synergy - Tankbuster with a wide cleave. This needs to be shared or invulned. Applies a bleed debuff.
- Aetheric Polyominoid
- Divides the arena into a 4x4 layout
- Summons plus-shaped indicators on two tiles, one towards the west and one towards the east
- This indicator will explode into a plus-shaped AOE, like a Bomberman bomb
- Unholy Darkness - Stack markers on both healers
- Exocleaver - Cone-shaped AOEs, evenly spaced around the boss. Think Shadow Spread from Hades EX. Does another set of unmarked AOEs in the previous safe areas afterwards
Teams need to split into light parties, one on east and one on west. Stack with your healer, make sure you're outside of the polyominoid AOEs, and move into the Exocleaver AOE once it's exploded, as it will repeat in the previous safe areas. The healer stack resolves as the second set of Exocleaver AOEs go off.
- Pathogenic Cells
- Everyone receives a number from 1-8 over their heads
- The boss will cast a wide cleave on every number in succession, applying a Twice Come Ruin-like stacked debuff that turns into a stun debuff if allowed to stack to 2. Basically, only get hit by one of the AOEs.
One way to resolve this is to use a similar strategy to Flood Ray from Diamond Weapon EX. Players marked 1-4 take position on intercardinals (it's best to mark this using waymarks). Players with 5-8 stand on the east/west cardinals, ready to swap with their number partner (their number - 4) once it has been cleaved. 5 and 6 stand on the east waymark, and 7 and 8 stand on the west waymark.
- Aetherial Exchange - Preparation for the next mechanic
- Exchange of Agonies
- All but two players will be tethered with an exchange tether, in pairs
- You can either be marked with a donut AOE marker (big red circle), a point-blank AOE marker (arrow indicator), or a stack marker
- Keep in mind that you will instead receive the marker that your tether partner has (hence exchange tether)
- Choros Ixou - Dual cleave, either cleaves N+S -> E+W or E+W -> N+S
In preparation, all players should head to their clock spots to be able to see their tether partner. Players that ultimately (i.e. after exchange) have a point-blank marker need to head to a corner of the arena corresponding to their clock spot. Players on cardinal clock spots rotate clockwise into a corner. Donut AOEs stack in the middle, along with the stack marker. Keep in mind that the first Choros Ixou cleave will resolve right as the other mechanics do! Position accordingly, and then immediately after swap to the other safe spot for Choros Ixou.
- Synergy - Tankbuster on the two people with highest enmity. Make sure the OT has stance on, swap if you need the enmity, but it's not required. Gives a bleed debuff to both players.
- Hermitheos's Dark IV - Raidwide
- Transmission - Gives either a Chelomorph (wing) or Glossomorph (snake) debuff to everyone. When the debuff expires, snakes will cleave their front, and wings will cleave their behind.
- Choros Ixou - Dual cardinal cleave
One way to resolve this is to split up into light parties, head to opposite intercardinals in melee range (the 3 and 4 waymarks, for example), and have wing debuff players stand behind snake debuff players so as to not cleave each other. Once you know where Choros Ixou cleaves first, wiggle to that side, wait for your debuffs to expire, and then wiggle to the other side.
- Aetherial Exchange - Preparation for the next mechanic
- Polyominoid Sigma - Divides the arena into 4x4 pieces, spawns two cross or plus indicators, tethered together with an exchange tether.
- Dark Dome - Places AOEs without indicator on where everyone is standing on castbar finish.
Bait the Dark Dome AOEs in the middle, then dodge out into the safe spot for the polyominoid AOEs.
- Aetherial Exchange - Preparation for the next mechanic
- Exchange of Agonies
- Gives two sets of exchange tethers, each pair having a point-blank and a stack indicator
- The stack indicators will, after exchange, always end up on a DPS and a T/H(?)
- Exocleaver - Same as before, AOE cones around the arena, and then on the unmarked areas
